The Museum serves the public and depends on the help of our community volunteers. We welcome your help and even the smallest gesture of your time and involvement will

further the work we do. Please let us know if you would like to be a docent, a research person, builder of exhibits, fundraiser or care giver for exhibits.  Volunteers are eligible for invitations to special events and more.  Motorcycle Donors are the life blood of any museum and we can help insure with any donations your legacy will have lasting meaning.

Collections / Research

The Melvin Museum houses over 30,000 original artifacts,

prints, drawings, motorcycles, memorabilia, tools, books,

magazines, photos, newspapers, manuals and historic material.

Besides our own research, we appreciate the contributions

of many outside experts in the motorcycle field.

Education, Fun and Exhibits

The Museum houses many motorcycles, historically important

drawings and exhibits. The intention is to provide a historic

view, as well as show the fun and excitement this sport has

provided for millions of people worldwide. Opportunities are

provided for visitors to take photos, touch, feel and sit on some

of the motorcycles. Its the museums way of letting you step

through a window into the past. Exhibits are always in a state

of change and improvement. There is something for everyone.
